Geoffrey Young

Geoffrey has been involved in cherry growing for the last 5 years.  He has a 6 hectare orchard, growing several varieties of cherries on the shores of the beautiful Lake Dunstan, Cromwell.  He is excited to be involved in one of the best cherry companies in New Zealand,  supplying both the local and international markets with cherries. 

Geoffrey’s background is beef and sheep farming and he has farmed most of his life.   He lives in Northern Southland on his 5400 hectare High Country Station.  When not involved in growing cherries or farming, Geoffrey enjoys fishing, theatre and travelling.
